Ivy Evans, ARNP
Ivy is a nurse practitioner who received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. She then worked in research on toxicological and bioanalytical chemistry at Battelle Memorial Institute. This included research in radioactive materials, research and development for vaccines, and health effects of a variety of chemicals encountered in everyday life. She returned to Case Western to complete her Master of Science in Nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She is also pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. Prior to joining MedNorthwest, she worked in gastroenterology. As an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, Ivy sees patients 13 and up, and her license permits her to perform all the functions of a physician in Washington state for patients in that age range. Ivy enjoys painting, reading, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their dogs.
Roshan S. Panchanathan, MD
Roshan Panchanathan, MD (pronounced Row-shin to rhyme with Ocean, and Punch-in-Auth-in, to sort-of-rhyme with Lunch-in-Law-thin, or just call him “Dr. P” if that’s easier) is a board-certified internist. Dr. P holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and an MD degree from the University of Arizona, where he was nominated by his peers to the Gold Humanism Honors Society. His internal medicine residency was completed at the University of Washington. Dr. P managed to produce nine peer-reviewed papers during his education, including several where he was first author, and also has many poster presentations and abstracts. He enjoys developing meaningful relationships with his patients and helping them develop a personalized plan to achieve their health goals. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys sports, including basketball, pickleball, and tennis.

Off the clock, you can find Melia and her family exploring the West Coast in their truck camper.
Julianne handles a variety of administrative and medical assisting duties. She received her bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology and global health at the University of Washington and has a background in primary care. Julianne particularly enjoys developing long-term relationships with the patients at MedNorthwest. “Dani” is a medical assistant who grew up in Washington State and completed her bachelor’s degree in anthropology at CWU. She then continued her education with additional coursework in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and organic chemistry. She has worked as a medical assistant since 2017, initially in Moscow, Russia (actually Idaho, but Russia sounds more exotic), and then at Harborview before joining MedNorthwest. Dani handles a variety of front and back-office duties. In her free time, Dani enjoys hiking with her dog Barkley, reading mystery novels, and knitting.
Yu-Jin is a medical assistant who grew up in California and earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Seattle Pacific University, where she attended on a football scholarship, playing offensive tackle for their D-1 team. Actually, it was a full ride academic scholarship, and she left with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her research interests were in both inorganic and organic chemistry and anthropology. Yu-Jin is responsible for both front and back-office duties. Outside of work, Yu-Jin enjoys painting watercolors, reading fiction, and crocheting.
Dhyana (pronounced Dee-Ah-nuh) grew up in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. She lived in Berlin for a year before coming to Seattle to attend Seattle Pacific University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her research interests were in cellular biology and molecular genetics. Dhyana is responsible for a variety of duties involving patient care as well as administrative tasks. In her spare time, she enjoys all manner of outdoor sports, including snorkeling, SCUBA diving, camping, and hiking. Surprisingly, despite growing up in Boulder, she gave up snowboarding after colliding with an elderly gentleman on the slopes of El Dorado Springs on her third time out. She is perhaps the only snowboarder in the history of the sport to allow a collision with a skier to result in hanging up one’s snowboard.
